Peter Coe was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Peter Coe's earliest roles were in film, including "Gung Ho!" (1943), the George Raft musical "Follow the Boys" (1944) and the Maria Montez action flick "Gypsy Wildcat" (1944). He also appeared in "House of Frankenstein" (1945) with Boris Karloff, "The Mummy's Curse" (1945) and "Sword in the Desert" (1949). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like the spy thriller "Diplomatic Courier" (1952) with Tyrone Power, "Road to Bali" (1953) and the action movie "Desert Legion" (1953) with Alan Ladd. He also appeared in the Charlton Heston western "Arrowhead" (1953). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in "The Ten Commandments" (1956), the adventurous drama "Hell Ship Mutiny" (1957) with Jon Hall and the comedy "Snow White and the Three Stooges" (1961) with Moe Howard. He also appeared in the Stewart Granger action picture "The Secret Invasion" (1964) and "Tobruk" (1967) with Rock Hudson. Peter Coe more recently worked on "Mr. Halperin and Mr. Johnson" (HBO, 1982-83).
