Pilou Asbæk

Johan "Pilou" Asbaek was an actor who was familiar with the qualities it takes to bring a drama to the big screen. To break into the world of acting, "Pilou" Asbaek held roles in films like the Rosalinde Mynster film "Worlds Apart" (2008), the Anne Louise Hassing film "A Family" (2011) and "Bora Bora" (2011) with Sarah-Sofie Boussnina. He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including parts on "Game of Thrones" (HBO, 2010-) and "The Borgias" (Showtime, 2010-13). He kept working in film throughout the 2010s, starring in "R" (2011), the Rachel Weisz drama "The Whistleblower" (2011) and "A Hijacking" (2013). He also appeared in "Sex, Drugs & Taxation" (2013). Recently, he continued to act in "Kapgang" (2014), the Scarlett Johansson blockbuster action picture "Lucy" (2014) and "Silent Heart" (2014). He also appeared in the thriller "The Absent One" (2014) with Soren Pilmark. Most recently, "Pilou" Asbaek acted in "A War" (2015).
