Rafal Zielinski's success as a director was marked by a long line of films over the course of his Hollywood career. Zielinski began his entertainment career by directing comedies like "Screwballs" (1983) starring Peter Keleghan, "Hey Babe!" (1984) starring Buddy Hackett and "Screwballs II - Loose Screws" (1985) with Bryan Genesse and Lance Van Der Kolk. He also appeared in "Recruits" (1986) with Stephen Osmond, "Valet Girls" (1987) with Meri D Marshall and April Stewart and "Screwball Hotel" (1988) with Michael Bendetti and Andrew Zeller. He continued to work in film in the eighties and the nineties, directing motion pictures like the comedy adaptation "Gingerale Afternoon" (1989) with Dana Andersen, the Lorenzo Lamas action movie "Night of the Warrior" (1991) and the action picture "Under Surveillance" (1991) with Robert Davi. He also appeared in the fantasy "Spellcaster" (1992) with Richard Blade. Zielinski also directed a few television shows at this time, such as "Veronica Clare" (Lifetime, 1990-91) and "Highlander: The Series" (1992-98). Recently, Zielinski directed "Jailbait" (1993), the comedy "National Lampoon's Last Resort" (1994) with Corey Haim and the Renee Humphrey dramatic adaptation "Fun" (1995). He also appeared in "The Veritas Project: Hangman's Curse" (2003) with David Keith and the Daniel Sollinger drama "Chthonic" (2004). Most recently, Zielinski directed "Downtown: A Street Tale" (2007).
