Rekha

Rekha was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Early on in her acting career, Rekha landed roles in various films, including "Pran Jaye Par Vachan Na Jaye" (1974), the Prem Nath foreign "Dharmatma" (1975) and "Dharam Karam" (1975). She also appeared in "Prem Bandhan" (1979), "Aanchal" (1980) and "Vijeta" (1983) with Shashi Kapoor. She continued to work steadily in film throughout the eighties and the nineties, appearing in "Utsav" (1984) with Shashi Kapoor, "Faasle" (1985) and "Aastha: In The Prison Of Spring" (1997). Film continued to be her passion as she played roles in the Naseeruddin Shah comedy "Monsoon Wedding" (2002), "Bhoot" (2003) with Ajay Devgan and the Sanjay Dutt dramatic adaptation "Parineeta" (2005). She also appeared in "Krrish" (2006) and "Yatra" (2007). Most recently, Rekha acted in "Super Nani" (2014).
