Rex Allen Jr. was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Allen began his career with roles in "The CBS Newcomers" (CBS, 1970-71) and "Ragin' Cajun" (1990) with Samantha Eggar. Allen also appeared in "The Statler Bros. Show" (The Nashville Network, 1991-99), "Yesteryear" (The Nashville Network, 1994-95) and "Country's Family Reunion & the Young 'Uns" (The Nashville Network, 1999-2000). More recently, Allen worked on "Me, Myself and Irene" (2000) starring Jim Carrey.
