British actor Richard Greene captivated audiences with his incredible performances on the big screen. In 1933, he made his stage debut. Greene began his acting career with roles in such films as "Submarine Patrol" (1938), "My Lucky Star" (1938) and "Four Men and a Prayer" (1938). He also appeared in "Kentucky" (1938), "Here I Am a Stranger" (1939) and "The Hound of the Baskervilles" (1939). His film career continued throughout the forties and the fifties in productions like "That Dangerous Age" (1949), "The Fighting O'Flynn" (1949) and the comedy adaptation "The Fan" (1949) with Jeanne Crain. He also appeared in "Lorna Doone" (1951). Greene was most recently credited in "Walt: The Man Behind the Myth" (ABC, 2001-02). Greene continued to exercise his talent in the eighties, taking on a mix of projects like "Getting Even" (1981), "Special Effects" (1984) and "Maria's Lovers" (1985). His credits also expanded to "Ordeal By Innocence" with Donald Sutherland (1985) and "The Mosquito Coast" with Harrison Ford (1986). Greene passed away in June 1985 at the age of 71.
