Actress-musician Rita Coolidge made a splash in Hollywood both on and off-screen. Coolidge worked on a variety of projects during her early entertainment career, including "El Triunfo de un Hombre Llamado Caballo" with Richard Harris (1982), "Free To Be...You And Me" (1974) starring Alan Alda and "Octopussy" (1983) starring Roger Moore. She also contributed to "Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid" (1973), "Saturday Night Live" (NBC, 1975-) and "Splash" (1984). She also contributed to a variety of television specials, including "Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade" (1987-88), "The Calgary Olympic Holiday Special" (ABC, 1987-88) and "Dionne Warwick in London" (1987-88). Coolidge also created music for the action picture "The Bounty Hunter" (1989) with Robert Ginty. Coolidge's music was most recently used in the Juno Temple dramedy "Dirty Girl" (2011). Coolidge continued to exercise her talent in the nineties through the 2010s, taking on a mix of projects like "The Native Americans" (TBS, 1994-95), "Joe Cocker: Have a Little Faith" and "Christmas in the Clouds" with Tim Vahle (2005). Her credits also expanded to "I Love You Phillip Morris" (2010) starring Jim Carrey. Coolidge's husband was Kris Kristofferson.
