While her career dates back to the '60s, Rosemary Forsyth continues to appear in televisions series and films. After working as a model, she co-starred in a series of period epics throughout the '60s. She soon became recognizable as the highly desirable woman whom various men feud over. For example, in the epic drama "The War Lord," she played Bronwyn, who is rescued by Charlton Heston's Norman knight Chrysagon de la Cruex. Meanwhile, in the western comedy "Texas Across the River," she played a would-be bride who finds herself caught up in a love triangle with her Rat-Pack co-stars Dean Martin and Joey Bishop. From the '70s onward, most of her credits were in television, where her tall, downright regal appearance has led to roles as women in positions of authority. During a stint on the soap opera "Santa Barbara," she played Dominic, who evolved into the matriarchal character Sophia Wayne Capwell (later played by other actresses). She also had an important role as a chief financial officer in the 1994 drama "Disclosure." After memorable guest appearances on the legal drama "Ally McBeal " and the crime drama "Without a Trace" in the early 2000s, Forsyth appeared in the television family drama film "Sweet Nothing in my Ear" in 2008.
