Throughout his Hollywood career, Roy Budd's musical talent was featured in a variety of Hollywood productions. Budd began his entertainment career with his music featured in films like "Soldier Blue" (1970) with Candice Bergen, the adventure "Zeppelin" (1970) with Michael York and "Flight of the Doves" (1971). His music also appeared in the Peter Finch drama "Something to Hide" (1971), the Yul Brynner western "Catlow" (1971) and the Michael Caine adventure "Kidnapped" (1971). In the seventies, Budd's music continued to appear on the silver screen, including in films like "The Stone Killer" (1973), "The Girl From Petrovka" (1974) and "The Internecine Project" (1974) with James Coburn. His work was also in the crime picture "The Destructors" (1974) with Michael Caine. Budd was nominated for a Best Original Song - Motion Picture Golden Globe Award for "Paper Tiger" in 1975. Budd's music was also featured in the comedy "Mamma Dracula" (1980) with Louise Fletcher, the Gregory Peck adventure "The Sea Wolves" (1980) and the Lewis Collins thriller "Who Dares Wins" (1982). His music was also featured in the comedy "Making the Grade" (1984) with Judd Nelson. Budd's music was most recently used in the Adam Sandler blockbuster comedic action flick "You Don't Mess With the Zohan" (2008).
