Sam Moore worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. He also was featured in the miniseries "Armistead Maupin's Tales of the City" (1993-94). He appeared in a number of television specials, including "Coca-Cola Presents Live: The Hard Rock" (NBC, 1988-89) and "Rhythm, Country & Blues: An "In the Spotlight" Special" (PBS, 1993-94). He also acted in various film roles at the time, appearing in the John Cusack comedy "Tapeheads" (1988). Moore also contributed music to "One-Trick Pony" (1980) with Paul Simon and the comedy "Car 54, Where Are You?" (1994) with David Johansen. In the nineties, Moore devoted his time to various credits, such as "Elvis Aron Presley: The Tribute" "Met Life Presents the Apollo Theatre Hall of Fame" (NBC, 1994-95) and "Another Day in Paradise" (1998) starring James Woods. Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in "Night at the Golden Eagle" (2002) and "Only the Strong Survive" (2003). Additionally, he could be seen on a variety of television specials like "Hello Darlin': A Tribute to Conway Twitty" (The Nashville Network, 1998-99) and "R&B 40: A Soul Spectacular" (PBS, 2001-02). Moore also contributed music to Most recently, Moore appeared in "The 37th Annual Kennedy Center Honors" (CBS, 2014-15).
