Sammy White was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. White started off his career in film with roles in the Marion Davies musical comedy "Cain and Mabel" (1936), "711 Ocean Drive" (1950) with Edmond O'Brien and "Pat and Mike" (1952) with Spencer Tracy. White then began to rack up a number of film credits, including roles in "Sound Off" (1952), the Shirley Booth dramatic adaptation "About Mrs. Leslie" (1954) and the comedic adaptation "Living It Up" (1954) with Dean Martin. He also appeared in the biographical drama "Somebody Up There Likes Me" (1956) with Paul Newman and "The Helen Morgan Story" (1957). White was most recently credited in the Robert Morse comedy adaptation "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" (1967). White passed away in March 1960 at the age of 66.
