With her powerful screen presence and impressive resume, Sarah Jones was a journeyman TV actor who developed a devoted following. Born in Winter Springs, Florida in 1983, Jones' first love was dance. She eventually moved to Los Angeles intent on pursuing a career as a professional dancer, but when her agent asked if she would consider acting, her career took an unexpected turn. Jones landed her first screen role with a 2004 guest appearance on the series "Medical Investigation" (NBC, 2004-2005), and discovered a love for her newfound craft. She would co-star on a number of short-lived cult favorites, playing opposite Hank Azaria on "Huff" (Showtime, 2004-06) and with Teri Polo on "The Wedding Bells" (Fox, 2007), before joining the cast of "Big Love" (HBO, 2006-2011) for the show's second season. A memorable turn as Polly Zobelle on the series "Sons of Anarchy" (FX, 2008-2014) opened Jones up to an even wider audience, and by the end of her character's arc, she was ready to take her career to the next level, taking on the starring role of Detective Rebecca Madsen on the J.J. Abrams-produced series "Alcatraz" (Fox, 2012). The following years would find Jones taking on stronger and still more challenging roles on "Vegas" (CBS, 2012-13), "Texas Rising" (History, 2015), and "The Path" (Hulu, 2016-), before she was cast as the fearless Amelia Davenport on the period series "Damnation" (USA, 2017-).
