Sarah Strange

Since her screenwriting parents were the creators behind Canada's longest-running dramatic series, "The Beachcombers," which ran for 18 seasons on Canadian television, actress Sarah Strange was exposed to the entertainment industry from a very early age. In 1989, she landed her first acting job, as the voice of Ranma Saotome, the boy protagonist on the anime television series "Ranma 1/2." The show, about a 16-year-old boy who's an expert in martial arts, lasted for three seasons and spawned three additional movies, becoming a hit both in Canada and the United States In 1998 Strange became a familiar face to Canadian audiences as Helen, the loyal secretary of the Vancouver City Coroner Dominic Da Vinci, in the Canadian dramatic series "Da Vinci's Inquest." Strange continues to work in both film and television, appearing in the short-lived ABC drama "Life As We Know It," as well as in the 2005 American film "White Noise."
