Sergio Fantoni was an actor who graced the silver screen many times throughout his Hollywood career. Fantoni began his acting career with roles in such films as "Esther and the King" (1960), the drama "It Was Night in Rome" (1960) with Giovanna Ralli and the Steve Reeves adventure "La Battaglia di Maratona" (1960). He also appeared in the Claudia Cardinale drama "The Dauphins" (1960) and "The Prize" (1963). He continued to act in productions like the Doris Day comedy "Do Not Disturb" (1965), the Frank Sinatra action picture "Von Ryan's Express" (1965) and the James Coburn comedy "What Did You Do in the War, Daddy?" (1966). He also appeared in "Diabolically Yours" (1967) with Alain Delon and the dramatic adaptation "Senso" (1968) with Farley Granger. During the latter part of his career, he tackled roles in the Rock Hudson drama "Hornet's Nest" (1970), "Le Hasard Et La Violence" (1973) and "E Comincio il viaggio nella vertigini" (1976). He also appeared in the comedy adventure "Ti Presento un'Amica" (1988) with Giuliano DeSio. He also was featured in the TV movie "The Fifth Missile" (NBC, 1985-86). Fantoni more recently acted in "The Belly of an Architect" (1989).
