Shay Duffin's acting talents were showcased on the big screen many times throughout the course of his Hollywood career. Duffin's acting career began mostly with his roles in various films, such as "The White Buffalo" (1977), the Paul Sorvino drama "Bloodbrothers" (1978) and "Butch and Sundance: The Early Days" (1979) with William Katt. He also was featured in the miniseries "The Amazing Howard Hughes" (1976-77). He also starred in the TV movies "Captains Courageous" (ABC, 1977-78) and "The Other Side of Hell" (NBC, 1977-78). His film career continued throughout the seventies and the eighties in productions like the comedic sports movie "The Main Event" (1979) with Barbra Streisand, "The Frisco Kid" (1979) and the action picture "The Baltimore Bullet" (1980) with James Coburn. He also appeared in the Robert De Niro biographical drama "Raging Bull" (1980). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in "Leprechaun" (1992) with Warwick Davis, "Newsies" (1992) with Christian Bale and the drama "The Public Eye" (1992) with Joe Pesci. He also appeared in the Leonardo DiCaprio box office smash action film "Titanic" (1997) and "St. Patrick's Day" (1999). Duffin last acted in the Brendan Gleeson animated adventure "Beowulf" (2007). Duffin passed away in April 2010 at the age of 79.
