Shorty Rogers brought his musical talents to a variety of films over the course of his Hollywood career. Rogers's music career began in television with features on shows like "The Danny Thomas Hour" (1967-68), "The Mod Squad" (ABC, 1968-1973) and "Here Come the Brides" (ABC, 1968-1970). At the start of his Hollywood career, Rogers's music was featured in films like "Young Dillinger" (1965) with Nick Adams and the comedic adaptation "The Tiger Makes Out" (1967) with Eli Wallach. Earlier in his Hollywood career, he contributed music to some films and other projects like the biopic "Young Dillinger" (1965) with Nick Adams and "The Tiger Makes Out" (1967). In addition to his music, Rogers appeared in the Frank Sinatra dramatic adaptation "The Man With the Golden Arm" (1956). In the seventies, Rogers's music continued to appear primarily in television shows like "The Interns" (CBS, 1970-71) and "The Partridge Family (ABC)" (ABC, 1970-74). His music also appeared in the Jason Robards romance "Fools" (1970). In the eighties through the nineties, Rogers lent his talents to projects like "Looney Looney Looney Bugs Bunny Movie" with Mel Blanc (1981), "Zoot Suit" (1981) starring Daniel Valdez and "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas" (1982). His credits also expanded to "The Public Eye" with Joe Pesci (1992). Rogers most recently worked on "Beyond the Sea" (2004) with Kevin Spacey.
