After starting her career in the late '80s with small roles in low-budget comedies and genre films, Stacey Travis has since graduated to supporting roles in big budget comedies and critically acclaimed independent movies. Her early credits include horror flicks like "Phantasm II," in which she showed up for a short time then mysteriously vanished, and she also appeared in the cult science-fiction comedy "Earth Girls Are Easy." The '90s brought more horror films and guest-starring parts on television series, but she did get to play recurring character Renee Delaney, a resourceful Army investigator, in the syndicated action show "Highlander," and appeared in two episodes of "ER." In 1990, she also was cast as the lead female protagonist in the post-Apocalyptic movie "Hardware," which has since achieved cult status. During the 2000s, she often played mothers and wives in films across different genres, which included the critically acclaimed and award-winning "Traffic," "Ghost World," and "Easy A." She has also been a familiar face on television sitcoms and dramas, occasionally appearing on "Desperate Housewives" as the ADD medication-popping Jordana Geist.
