Steve Coulter's acting talents were showcased on the big screen many times throughout the course of his Hollywood career. Coulter began his acting career in film, appearing in such titles as the Whoopi Goldberg comedic drama "Eddie" (1996), the Matthew McConaughey smash hit dramatic adaptation "A Time to Kill" (1996) and the Cuba Gooding Jr. action film "Chill Factor" (1999). He also appeared in the TV movie "Wife, Mother, Murderer -- The Marie Hilley Story" (ABC, 1991-92). He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including parts on "In the Heat of the Night" (CBS, 1988-1994) and "I'll Fly Away" (NBC, 1991-93). He kept working in film throughout the early 2000s and the 2010s, starring in the comedy sequel "Madea's Family Reunion" (2006) with Tyler Perry, the Gabrielle Union romance "Tyler Perry's Daddy's Little Girls" (2007) and the crime drama "Mr. Brooks" (2007) with Kevin Costner. He also appeared in the Jennifer Lawrence blockbuster dramatic adaptation "The Hunger Games" (2012). More recently, he tackled roles in "Arthur Newman" (2013) with Colin Firth, the Vera Farmiga hit horror feature "The Conjuring" (2013) and the Patrick Wilson horror sequel "Insidious: Chapter 2" (2013). He also appeared in the comedy "A.C.O.D." (2013) with Adam Scott and "Kill the Messenger" (2014). Coulter most recently acted in "Sleepless" (2017) with Jamie Foxx.
