Born on June 1, 1984, in Santa Barbara, CA, actor Taylor Handley made his acting debut with a small supporting role in the big screen holiday comedy, "Jack Frost" (1998) starring Michael Keaton. Over the next several years, Handley popped up as a guest-star in a score of prime time dramas and sitcoms including " Sons of Thunder" (CBS, 1999-2000), "Frasier" (NBC, 1993-2004), "NYPD Blue" (ABC, 1993-2005), "Touched by an Angel" (CBS, 1994-2003), "CSI" (CBS, 2000- ) and "Becker' (1998-2004). In 2003, Handley's three-episode guest-starring arc on the highly rated teen angst-fest "Dawson's Creek" (WB, 1998-2003) turned into a recurring gig as the emotionally troubled Oliver Trask on "The O.C." (Fox, 2003-07). Handley's haunting portrayal of the depressed teen won the young actor critical accolades, but also his share of controversy - mental health advocates, in particular, took umbrage with the implication that Trask's depression was responsible for his reckless, borderline villainous behavior. In 2006, Handley leapt back into features with a showy role in the violent slasher "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning." The following year, Handley returned to the small screen as co-star of the sexy coming-of-age drama, "Hidden Palms" (CW, 2007). In his most prominent role to date, Handley played 15-year-old Johnny Miller, a sensitive teenager who moves to Palm Springs with his mother following his father's suicide.
