Thomas J. Wright is a prolific American television director, who has worked on more than 50 screen projects. Wright started out in show business as a production illustrator, working on the fantastical series "Night Gallery" and other 1970s and early '80s offerings. In the mid-'80s, Wright transitioned into directing, helming episodes of "The Twilight Zone," "Max Headroom," and "Beauty and the Beast." Although he directed the '89 Hulk Hogan feature film, "No Holds Barred," Wright has primarily worked in the TV field, most notably contributing heavily to the late-'90s supernatural series "Millennium" as both a director and producer. Other TV shows to list Wright as a director include "The X-Files," "Highlander," "Dark Angel," "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," "Firefly," and "The Wire." Starting in 2004, Wright remained affiliated with the dramas "One Tree Hill" and "NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service" for extended stints, the latter show featuring him as a semi-regular director.
