Tico Wells's acting talents were showcased on the big screen many times throughout the course of his Hollywood career. Early on in his acting career, Wells landed roles in various films, including the thriller "Heart of Midnight" (1989) with Jennifer Jason Leigh, the Michael Keaton comedy "The Dream Team" (1989) and the John Cameron Mitchell drama "Misplaced" (1990). He also appeared in the action picture "Return of Superfly" (1990) with Nathan Purdee and the dramedy "The Five Heartbeats" (1991) with Robert Townsend. He kept working in film throughout the nineties, starring in "Mississippi Masala" (1992), the action movie "Universal Soldier" (1992) with Jean-Claude van Damme and "Trespass" (1992). He also lent his distinctive voice to "Waynehead" (WB, 1996-97) and "Family Guy" (Fox, 1998-). Wells most recently appeared in "Perfect on Paper" (Hallmark Channel, 2014-15).
