Tony Romo

Tony Romo's star has grown nearly as large as the one that adorns his football helmet. Wearing his signature backwards baseball cap as he patrols the sidelines, the Dallas Cowboys quarterback has become one of the most recognizable players in the NFL. Romo signed with the Cowboys as a rookie free agent in 2003, eventually taking over the starting quarterback role in 2006. Romo has become more than a quarterback -- he is a celebrity. The man whose jersey is consistently among the top sellers in the league is as well known for his dating life as he is for his job. Romo has famously dated several celebrities, most notably Jessica Simpson, before marrying Candice Crawford. Romo is also an accomplished amateur golfer, playing in professional-amateur (pro-am) golf tournaments during the football offseason. While his detractors point out that Romo has yet to win the big game, he has seen enough success on the field to justify the contract extensions that have made him the longtime face of the storied Cowboys.
