Vincent Ball was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Ball started his acting career landing roles in such films as the Griffith Jones crime feature "Face in the Night" (1956), "Robbery Under Arms" (1957) and the drama "A Town Like Alice" (1958) with Virginia McKenna. He also appeared in "Blood of the Vampire" (1958) and "Danger Within" (1959). He kept working in film throughout the sixties and the seventies, starring in the adaptation sequel "The Mouse on the Moon" (1963) with Margaret Rutherford, the dramatic adaptation "Where Eagles Dare" (1968) with Richard Burton and the Ralph Richardson comedy adaptation "Oh! What A Lovely War" (1969). He also appeared in "Deathcheaters" (1976) with John Hargreaves. Toward the end of his career, he tackled roles in the drama "The Year My Voice Broke" (1988) with Noah Taylor, the Craig Adams comedy "Love in Limbo" (1993) and the suspenseful mystery "Frauds" (1993) with Phil Collins. He also appeared in the historical love story "Sirens" (1994) with Hugh Grant and the Toni Collette comedy "Muriel's Wedding" (1995). Most recently, Ball acted in "Black and White" (2004).
