Throughout her entertainment career as an accomplished actress, Virginia Dale graced the silver screen many times. Dale's career in acting began with her roles in various films like "No Time to Marry" (1938), "Start Cheering" (1938) and "Death of a Champion" (1939). She also appeared in "The Kid From Texas" (1939), the musical "Dancing on a Dime" (1940) with Grace McDonald and "Love Thy Neighbor" (1940) with Jack Benny. She kept working in film throughout the forties, starring in "Parole Fixer" (1940), "The Quarterback" (1940) and the adaptation "Kiss the Boys Goodbye" (1941) with Mary Martin. She also appeared in "Las Vegas Nights" (1941), the Gene Autry western "The Singing Hill" (1941) and "World Premiere" (1941). In the latter part of her career, she tackled roles in the musical comedy "Holiday Inn" (1942) with Bing Crosby, "Dragnet" (1947) and the Clark Gable drama "The Hucksters" (1947). She also was featured in the TV movie "His Mistress" (NBC, 1984-85). Dale more recently appeared in "Nutcracker: Money, Madness and Murder" (1986-87). Dale passed away in October 1994 at the age of 77.
