Vittorio Caprioli was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Caprioli's earliest roles were in film, including the drama "General Della Rovere" (1960) with Vittorio De Sica, the Catherine Demongeot comedic adaptation "Zazie" (1960) and "Where the Hot Winds Blows!" (1960) with Gina Lollobrigida. He also appeared in the Paolo Stoppa musical "Neapolitan Carousel" (1961), the comedy "Adultery Italian Style" (1966) with Catherine Spaak and the drama "The Libertine" (1968) with Catherine Spaak. He continued to work steadily in film throughout the seventies, appearing in the Nino Manfredi drama "Trastevere" (1972), "Une Journee bleu remplie" (1972) and the drama "Paolo Il Caldo" (1973) with Giancarlo Giannini. He also appeared in "La Moutarde me monte au nez" (1974). Nearing the end of his career, he tackled roles in "Cenerentola '80" (1980), the comedy "Cafe Express" (1980) with Nino Manfredi and the Ugo Tognazzi drama "Tragedy of A Ridiculous Man" (1982). He also appeared in the Ugo Tognazzi dramatic period piece "The Windbreaker" (1983). Caprioli was most recently credited in the romance "Il Male Oscuro" (1990) with Stefania Sandrelli. Caprioli passed away in October 1989 at the age of 68.
