Throughout her entertainment career as an accomplished actress, Wendy Makkena graced the silver screen many times. In 1989, she acted in the Broadway farce "Lend Me a Tenor." She danced with the New York City Ballet. In 1996, she co-starred with Dianne Wiest in the Off-Broadway production "The Shawl." In 2000, she had a featured role in the ABC fall sitcom "The Geena Davis Show." Makkena started her entertainment career by acting in comedies like the Whoopi Goldberg blockbuster "Sister Act" (1992), "Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit" (1993) with Whoopi Goldberg and "Camp Nowhere" (1994) with Jonathan Jackson and Christopher Lloyd. She also appeared in the TV movie "Dead and Alive -- The Race For Gus Farace" (ABC, 1991-92). She worked in television in her early acting career as well, including a part on "Law & Order" (NBC, 1990-2010). She continued to act in productions like the comedy adventure "Air Bud" (1997) with Michael Jeter, "4am - Open All Night" (1999) and "Finding North" (1999). She also worked in television during these years, including a part on "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" (CBS, 2000-2015). She shifted from film to television work through the early 2000s, appearing on "NCIS" (2003-), "The Nine" (ABC, 2006-07) and "The Good Wife" (CBS, 2009-). She also appeared in "Rizzoli & Isles" (TNT, 2009-16). Makkena most recently appeared in "Alpha House" (2013-15). Makkena was married to Bob Krakower.
