Wylie Watson was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Watson started off his career in film with roles in "Road House" (1934), the Robert Donat mystery adaptation "The 39 Steps" (1935) and the drama "The History of Mr. Polly" (1949) with John Mills. Watson made film his next project, appearing in "The Magnet" (1950), the dramedy "Your Witness" (1950) with Robert Montgomery and the Richard Attenborough dramatic adaptation "Brighton Rock" (1951). He also appeared in the musical comedy "Happy Go Lovely" (1951) with David Niven. Later in his career, Watson acted in the Deborah Kerr drama "The Sundowners" (1960). Watson passed away in May 1966 at the age of 77.
