Xavier Samuel

Australian actor Xavier Samuel's life changed when he was chosen for the role of Riley Biers in the 2010 blockbuster "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse." Until then, he had been a moderately successful actor in his home country, making his TV debut in 2003. After a few years studying theater, he made several film appearances, starring in the 2007 period drama "September," the family drama "Newcastle," and the horror film "The Loved Ones." Samuel's supporting role in the third installment of the "Twilight" series introduced him to a new set of fans, and he followed up the role with a part in Roland Emmerich's Shakespearean drama "Anonymous."
