Barbara Morrison was an actress who founded her entertainment career success with roles in film. Morrison had an early acting career in film, appearing in such titles as the adaptation "City Beneath the Sea" (1953) with Robert Ryan, the dramatic adaptation "From Here to Eternity" (1953) with Burt Lancaster and "Project Moonbase" (1953). She also appeared in the adaptation "A Man Called Peter" (1955) with Richard Todd and the adaptation "These Thousand Hills" (1959) with Don Murray. She worked in television in her early acting career as well, including a part on "The Twilight Zone" (CBS, 1959-1964). She continued to act in productions like "The Spiral Road" (1962), "The List of Adrian Messenger" (1963) and the adaptation "My Fair Lady" (1964) with Audrey Hepburn. She also appeared in "Do Not Disturb" (1965) with Doris Day and "Papillon" (1973). She also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Bewitched" (ABC, 1964-1972). Film continued to be her passion as she played roles in "Darktown Strutters" (1975) with Trina Parks. Morrison was most recently credited in "Enlightened" (HBO, 2011-13). She also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Kolchak: The Night Stalker" (ABC, 1974-75). She also had a part in the TV miniseries "Captains and the Kings" (1976-77). Morrison passed away in March 1992 at the age of 85.
