A story writer and artist for Walt Disney Studios from the late 1990s onward, Chris Williams eventually worked his way up to director on a pair of high profile projects in 2008 and 2009. The first was "Glago's Guest" (2008), a fanciful short about a meeting between a Russian soldier and an extraterrestrial, while the second, "Bolt" (2008), was a high-energy adventure about the canine star of a TV series who believes his super powers are real. Both reaped their share of box office rewards and critical acclaim, and helped to usher Williams to the forefront of Hollywood feature animation.
