Guy Raymond rose to fame as an actor, gracing the silver screen many times over the course of his Hollywood career. Raymond started off his acting career mostly in film roles, appearing in the Gene Kelly dramatic adaptation "Marjorie Morningstar" (1958), the Robert Wagner comedic adaptation "Sail a Crooked Ship" (1961) and the Rosalind Russell dramatic adaptation "Gypsy" (1962). He also appeared in the musical "It Happened at the World's Fair" (1963) with Elvis Presley. He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including parts on "The Twilight Zone" (CBS, 1959-1964) and "Star Trek" (NBC, 1966-69). His film career continued throughout the sixties in productions like "The Russians Are Coming, the Russians Are Coming" (1966) with Carl Reiner, the western "The Ballad of Josie" (1967) with Doris Day and "The Reluctant Astronaut" (1967). He also appeared in the western adventure "Bandolero!" (1968) with James Stewart. He also appeared in the TV special "Doc" (NBC, 1968-69). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir" (NBC, 1968-1970). Additionally, he could be seen on a variety of television specials like "The Flim-Flam Man" (1969-1970), "Who's Happy Now?" (PBS, 1974-75) and "America, You're On" (ABC, 1975-76). Raymond last appeared in "Starstruck" (CBS, 1978-79). Raymond passed away in January 1997 at the age of 86.
