Ila Arun

Ila Arun was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Arun began her acting career appearing in various films, such as the Leela Naidu comedic drama "Trikal" (1986), "Susman" (1987) with Neena Gupta and "Lamhe" (1991). Arun also contributed music to the Manohar Singh drama "Yeh woh manzil to nahin" (1987). She continued to act in productions like the period drama "Jodhaa Akbar" (2008) with Hrithik Roshan and the Shreyas Talpade foreign "Mahadev" (2008). Arun also created music for the Dev Patel blockbuster dramatic adaptation "Slumdog Millionaire" (2008). Arun continued to exercise her talent in the early 2000s and the 2010s, taking on a mix of projects like "Luck By Chance" (2009), "Well Done Abba" (2010) starring Boman Irani and "Million Dollar Arm" (2014). Arun most recently acted in the romantic comedy "Shaadi Ke Side Effects" (2014) with Farhan Akhtar.
