Kimberly Russell

Kimberly Russell was a prolific actress who created a name for herself largely on the big screen. She also appeared in the TV movie "Final Shot: The Hank Gathers Story" (1991-92). She also appeared in various films, such as the Bill Cosby comedy "Ghost Dad" (1990) and "Hangin' With the Homeboys" (1991). Her work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "The O.J. Simpson Story" (Fox, 1994-95). She next focused her entertainment career on film, appearing in "Jimi" (1995) and the Michael Douglas mystery thriller "The Game" (1997). She also worked in television around this time, including a part on "New York Undercover" (Fox, 1994-98). Russell continued to exercise her talent in the early 2000s through the 2010s, taking on a mix of projects like "Dancing in September" with Nicole Ari Parker (2001), "Precious" (2009) and the Anika Noni Rose and Bruno Campos smash hit "The Princess and the Frog" (2009). Her credits also expanded to "Tyler Perry's Madea's Witness Protection" (2012). Most recently, Russell worked on the drama "Tyler Perry's Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor" (2013) with Jurnee Smollett.
